Island Light
Custom wooden pendant light fixture built as a Christmas gift and installed over a kitchen island, combining woodworking and home electrical wiring.

A light fixture made as a Christmas gift and installed over my girlfriend’s (now wife’s) parents’ kitchen island in Dunwoody, Georgia. This project called not only for skills in woodworking — sanding, staining, sealing — but also some home electrical wiring know-how to hard-wire it into the existing circuit.
